Who we are
after three years in a large healthcare system, i was ready to treat patients under my own supervision and make my own rules. flourish physical therapy was an idea quickly turned into reality with the help of family and friends.
flourish is a privately owned orthopedic clinic dedicated to patient-centered care. we provide high-quality, individualized treatment for every patient, recognizing that each injury, surgery, and scoliosis curve is unique and deserves a personalized approach.

my name is kaitlyn mcclaflin! i grew up in the small town of glyndon, mn and graduated from dilworth glyndon felton high school in 2015.
i attended the university of north dakota for six years, earning a bachelor of science in kinesiology in 2018 and a doctor of physical therapy degree in 2021. my initial interest in physical therapy grew from my love of sports and a long-standing desire to work in the healthcare field.
i fell in love with pediatrics and worked in both pediatrics and orthopedics for a little over three years in corporate healthcare. during that time, there was a need for a scoliosis-certified therapist, and i was the first to volunteer. in april 2024, i completed a 48-hour in-person course to become certified in the rigo method based on schroth.
fast forward to now, i have evaluated and treated over 70 teens and adults living with idiopathic or neuromuscular scoliosis. i am one of only two providers certified to treat scoliosis in the state of north dakota and the northwest region of minnesota.
i utilize a very open-minded, enthusiastic, and optimistic approach to care. all are welcome at flourish physical therapy.
Our Process
wellness assessment
your first visit is a comprehensive wellness assessment focused on understanding you and your scoliosis. we review your history, movement patterns, posture, and goals while gathering detailed baseline information to guide care.
kickoff consultation
during the kickoff consultation, we review findings together, discuss how scoliosis is affecting your body, and begin introducing targeted movement and exercise strategies. this visit sets the foundation for your care and ensures you feel informed and supported.
plan development
based on your assessment and goals, we develop a personalized care plan designed specifically for your curve pattern, age, and lifestyle. this plan evolves over time and may include in-clinic sessions, home exercises, education, and coordination with other providers as needed.
